We specialize in treating nerve injuries, inherited deformities, post-tumor excisions, and reconstructing the loss of movement and function after severe injuries.

Motoric replacement operations aim to replace lost functions by rerouting muscles, tendons or nerves. We can treat nerve injuries either with direct nerve suturing, if the lesion is only days or weeks old, or through a surgical technique called free nerve transplantation for nerve injuries where the lesion is older. Our expert team of surgeons can treat patients suffering from facial nerve palsies, a form of facial paralysis resulting from damage or trauma to the facial nerves, by a nerve transfer procedure or by motoric replacement operations such that the patient regains formerly lost functions. Brachial plexus injuries or lesions, which can occur as a result of shoulder trauma, tumors or inflammation, can lead to partial or complete impairment of nearly all functions of the upper extremity. We can treat patients with such injuries by complex reconstructions so that our patients can regain formerly lost functions.

We will gladly inform you personally of all therapy options available during our consultation hours.
