Aesthetic Surgery of the head and face

A facelift combined with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is performed to rejuvenate the appearance of the face. A browlift or lifting of the forehead would not only smooth out the wrinkles in this area, it would also make the eyes appear more open for patients who have extra or excess skin in the upper eyelid. Browlifts can be done alone or in conjunction with upper eyelid surgery, when required. To achieve good aesthetic results these complex procedures should only be done by highly skillful and experienced surgeons. Persons with a too prominent chin or a receding chin – too short or small – suffer not only physical and aesthetic problem, the condition is also a source for mental distress. Whether this condition is congenital or developed during adolescence, our experienced surgeons can help such patients surgically. By using hyaluronic acid or lipofilling – fat from the patient’s own body – we can augment small to thin lips and contour the shape of the lips. Lipofilling can also be used to treat scars and wrinkles.

Rhinoplasty, a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose, is a complex operation, requiring much surgical skill, experience and delicacy. Many patients suffering from an undesired shape of the nose can benefit tremendously from rhinoplasty. It can bring about dramatic positive results in their facial appearance and thus enhancing self-confidence. Octoplasty is a surgical technique to correct ears that protrude, the so-called jug ears. Like all deformities or less-desired facial features, jug ears can be a source of distress especially for young children. Our skillful surgeons can successfully correct protruding ears and other problems such as prominent earlobes or abnormally shaped ears. By making incisions behind the ear, scars are usually well-hidden.
