Welcome to the Department for Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery

At our Department patients’ health and comfort during the hospital stay are top priorities. Our medical team of doctors and nurses will make sure that the patients receive the best medical care. We offer our services seven days a week and round the clock.

Your stay at our clinic

Our international patients are asked to contact Edith Gawlik in advance of their stay. She will take care of all administrative needs and answer financial inquiries.

At admission we recommend that you bring the following items with you:

A valid form of identification (personal ID or passport);
Treatment contract;
Confimation of payment (see link above);
Medical test results such as blood tests, radiology reports or doctor’s letters;
List of current medications. We strongly recommend that you bring an ample supply of your own medication, since not all foreign medications are available in Germany.

Special services such as surgical treatment by our Chief of Surgery or placement in one- or two-person rooms will depend on the type of health insurance coverage and availability.
